The “Bag a Day” Challenge

A few times a year in the Minimal Mom group, we do the “bag a day” challenge. This is where you fill a grocery bag (the size of the ones you get from WalMart, Target, and so forth.

The reason I like this challenge is because there’s a limit. The bag is the boundary, and you can fill it with anything. Once’s filled, you’re done. It can be an entire bag of trash you found anywhere in the house or donations.

Here is an example of a full bag. All these were donation items we found around the house. We donate to a local charity so this becomes a tax deduction (which is why I still have the picture).

Your challenge: See if you can fill one bag this week. You’ll be surprised how much stuff leaves your house.
